Who can look after these in the UK?

I'm in the US right now, tempted to buy one and ship back

Well if you took it to a Chrysler dealer they would probably ask what it is over here, but any performance car service garage could handle them. They are very easy to work on and everything is visible unlike Italian cars hidden away under carbon fibre panels.

My gen 4 acr is much the same in engine bay and easy to handle, what part of the country are you in? Loads of viper owners around and can point you in the direction of where they go.

Honest Answer, No UK Dealers would touch it.
But there are ways and means, The UK Viper club look after our own cars, we have access to Viper Techs and have even had People from the USA come over and help on tech stuff. There are also our Swiss and German friends who also have tech support. The Club support on the web is brilliant.
But yes it is a risk if there was a major engine failure

My (2006) car recently had a safety recall on the clutch lockout which prevents the car starting unless the pedal is depressed. The recall came from Chrysler UK, and I booked it in at my local Jeep dealer to be done. I have also ordered Mopar parts for my car there. I suppose it helps as early SRT10's were officially sold in Europe.

But, as said above, I doubt they'd be capable of doing major mechanical issues on mine, let alone a gen 5

Seen a car and talked to the Viper tech at the dealership south of San Fran. They seem pretty straightforward but I think we would need access to the software for reading diagnostic codes in the Ecu. Anybody know an easy source for this? I guess there must be somebody on the Internet. I will also try Dodge of course to see if they will be nice.

Love that colour I made a few mock ups on the online configuration and that was one of my favourites

Thought the codes could be read with a STC tuner plugged into the DRB port?

Lovely car they have, now the pound is so weak it wouldn't be that far off price for a high spec acr extreme. Kicking myself for not being able to buy one when I was offered one at £95,000 on the road here.
