Thought CC used to be an aerodrome so it never was quiet anyway??! Shame always seeing your Viper sitting in the paddock Nad instead of charging around the circuit on the race days...! Is it really pumping out more dbs than some of the 6 and 7ltr monsters that race there??
Dad tried to get the Tiger on track but failed on noise: got my chance when they were clearing car parks easter last year. Were redirected onto a section of the track, finishing in the home stretch, and finished the visit on a blast!

Hi Pete, yeah it sure was a aircraft runway 50 years ago. Howz you and that Tiger keeping? You got a nice pic of my Beloved at CC, sure I'd like to get out on the circuit, have sneaked out a few times...but too noisy, so it's not fair to the circuit, (they get finded heavy). Damn those poxy non-car villagers, might just take a few cruises about the village huh, and introduce them to plenty road car noise, at + 4 K rpm, the track may seem the peaceful option then!!
Heh hehe! Right you’re on – anymore wanna join for a noisy blast through Castle Coombe on Easter Monday?!! The roads are a bit narrow though – praps not… and Easter mon doesn’t look too good this year?? Are they putting on all the pre-60/66 races to satisfy the noise restrictions? Where’s the Anglo-American series this year? – no Tiger team in attendance then… or Astons…?
Tiger’s pretty good thanks Nad – hibernating – out every 2 weeks, round the block tho… summer car only – 61000 miles in 40yrs! Think it needs a retune + reset the distributor timing few weeks back, but it doesn’t sound exactly right. Any new features for A10?
Do you know of any other circuits in the south/ south west area, like Thruxton, that maybe worth a visit – no noise restrictions!!?
