chatting to Nad the weekend the UK club has been offered special pricing for a limited time by one of the regular USA suppliers, we have been asked not to post prices as they are extremely keen. They can be up to $800 cheaper than what I paid 2 years ago !

If your interested post here and someone will contact you with the info. One set was ordered yesterday, the more orders the cheaper they get for everyone involved.

4 th set just ordered and price just reduced.

Ordered a few other things also, so my credit card has just taken a severe bashing.

cool, looks like you nipped in just in time. Between Nad and Joel will can get some good fitting instructions there is a knack to the install, I learned from these masters

.. first step pull the engine out
give me a shout when you've done that, and i'll tell what step two is

Ahh now you tell me

There won’t be much left in my car soon with the back end already out and now I have to pull the engine.

Forget that I’ll just use it Flintstone style in the soapbox derby

So are we forgetting the cruse at Luton and having a group fitting

This is my ballenger install sequence, mechanic did 99% of the work while I watched/hold/passed

1. prop the hood up with a stick
2. disconnect battery, mechanic stuck a voltage spike thingie on instead
3. apply several layers of masking tape the valve covers, you dont want to scratch the red powdercoating
4. remove the spark plug leads
5. remove heatshields and 'old' headers, air and
the right tools made light work, careful when removing the sensor. On the passenger side remove both the A/C plastic boxes, unclip the brake lines from the plastic holders and 3 bolts (?) on the reservoir and carefully move to one side
6. install the drivers side first with new gasket, its a lot easier with slightly more room. Headers were split down and go in through the top, not passed up from underneath. Copper grease on the thread of the sensor when it goes back
7. after a few drives all the nuts were checked and joints re-checked for leaks

didnt re-install the heatsheilds, no problems to date, some recommend fitting the shields back to protect the other engine parts from the heat

I also remember the black OE fixing nuts were tacky and didnt look right, so they were replaced with some shiney.

The viper was very very loud at first, but after a few trips the computer must of re-learnt and then it was just very loud

Bound to have missed some things out, but is a start, good luck!
