1997 Blue/White Paint

[10 CYL]

My 1997 Viper GTS Blue/White needed the cills repainting, I had them refinished great job wrong colour blue. Does anyone know if there is a certain brand of paint that is a good match.

This is the info I used when I had mine done. Doesn't make much sense to me, but did to the paint shop people!

Chrysler code: SBE

Other manufacture paint codes for the blue:
PPG: 19282
BASF: 26100

S-W ACME M-S: 51537
AKZO NOBEL SIKKENS: CHA96:SBE

Stripes are:
STONE WHITE
Chrysler code: SW1

No idea what they used in the end, but the match was perfect

being involved with painting cars for 30 odd years it's not the brand of paint that gives you a good colour match...it's getting the right colour in the first place and them getting a good paint mix applied by a skilled and caring workforce.
there is absolutuly no excuse to get it wrong.if we can't match the colour we won't charge.
