Front passenger side suspected fail. Thought it was the disk at first but the noise was way too loud. Not a viper but sounds exactly like this:

So I'm thinking getting a Moog 513132 bearing and assembly, £85.44 from rock auto plus shipping.
Can anyone confirm or suspect anything else?

Think you better order yourself a service manual off ebay first!

outside the normal service items, tyres, pads, battery etc spending has been low for us. I never had a breakdown on the road and less than a handful of failures over the years.
we had the RT for 5 years - thrust bearing was making a noise so the clutch was swapped at the same time £250
13 years years with the GTS - water pump failed after a club dyno day £300, and the clock spring went twang on one Michs northern runs £200
2 years in the SRT and Baz spotted a crack in a wishbone during a service £500
so very cheap viper motoring for us

I've Spent money on mine, but that's through Mods not mechanical breakdowns.
Only breakdowns I can think of are Timing cover gasket failure, fan relay, Broken output shaft and Half Shaft through Drag racing! Only ever replaced 1 clutch with another LUK clutch off ebay, but I don't count a clutch as a Breakdown as its a wearable item.
Since 2008!
I won't count the cost of the mods

Complete engine failure at 6000 miles, new block/camshaft/piston required, off the road for almost 1 year.
Overheating, new radiator.
Air con failed, new compressor plus pipework.
Air bag warning light, new clock spring.
Headlights wouldn't switch off, new headlight switch.
Serious oil leak, new oil cooler, new inlet/outlet pipework.
Numerous electrical problems.
Water entering interior around windscreen seal.
Bill for repairs to date over £10,000!

Did you ever work out why the engine failed?
I argued with Chrysler/Dodge for ages about it. They wanted me to get the engine removed, stripped down and commission an independent inspection before they would admit any liability. This was going to be expensive and they might still not have accepted liability. It all got very messy, especially when they were quoting £30000 to carry out the repairs. My view is that the engine was faulty from new but in the end I couldn't prove it. I was almost on the verge of scrapping the vehicle but persisted with it because I always planned to keep it long term and it was my dream car. Not sure I made the right decision as prices keep falling and every time I drive it something else goes wrong with it.
