Judging by previous threads I've read, it seems there have been none imported to the UK yet, which is very surprising considering that gen 5's seem to dominate the US forums, and they have been out since the 2013 model year.
As for modifications, it will be the normal requirements (side repeaters, rear fog light etc) I'm not sure about front sidelights, but they appear to have LED's already so they may be UK legal.
Hats off to you if you take the plunge, I can't wait to actually see one.

my worries are the front led lights, there were no major problems when I imported my silver/ blue gts from the states, if the currency was better I would do it now however I am in Florida on family hols for a month in Mid December,I will view one then and hope the dollar gets better if I like what I see.
Was speaking to a guy at the Corvette nats,
He has a place in Florida and had a new C7, he reckoned it was cheaper to register the car to his USA Address then just ship the car back and forth across the Water for a few years rather than paying the UK high taxes
