Been doing a lot of looking on the classifieds over in the usa and was originally looking for a acr, however now looking at the 5th gen prices and specs I'm wondering which would be the better choice now.

Ideally I want to use the car as a car to enjoy on the road doing some longer journeys. But also want to use the car in track days occasionally. The acr looks great and with the aero it would be awesome to use on track. The aero can be applied to the 5th gen if I wanted that I guess but at extra cost where as it's already there on the acr. How would the suspension compel are between the two? Kw on acr and bilstein on the new viper. Interior much better on the new viper too and I like the electronic dash setup. They weigh virtually the same so not much in it in that category and only a little more power in the new viper, not that I want more power.

Anyone had any experience driving both and got any comments to the pros and cons of each?

I know of One person in Europe who has both, but he is mainly an out and out track guy.

16' acr not out yet and price will be significantly more than what I was thinking of spending.

Decided to pull the trigger on a voodoo edition 2010 acr. Looks great and can't wait to get it over on this side of the Atlantic.

Welcome to the gen 4 ACR club, there aren't many of us in the UK. Are you doing the IVA yourself or getting it done for you?

I think I will have somebody do the iva prep save me the hassle and time. Looking forward to attending some shows and track days with the acr. Even going to try get a small group together for a trip to spa, the ring and maybe a few other top destinations next year for a euro road trip.
