This weekend turned out to be rather hectic for me! First, there was a gig on the Friday night I was playing at, then, my sisters wedding on the Saturday followed by some drinking. And it was finally topped off with a nice little classic car gathering in a small town called Cleveleys. Which just out of coincidence, is the hometown of one viper owner who happens to have one of, if not, the fastest viper in the UK. Naturally both him and myself could not miss such an opportunity to display our venom. The weather was set for shine, and shine it did. Carl arrived very eager at just after 8 am. Along with his SRT RAM may I add. Our 3 machines touching close to 2000hp combined!

Due to pre wedding celebrations, I arrived a little later (quite a lot later to be precise), but Carl had very skilfully left a space for a fellow VOA-ist. The problem...or should I say photo op for the kids and parents, was to then drive through the already amassed crowds at 2mph (Ludacris would have been impressed) with the lovely sound of that mopar exhaust rumbling away. Finally, I 'muscled' my through and parked up next to the 1000hp beast. To see two pristine condition vipers next to each other in both iconic colours brought smiles to not only myself and carl to many other car lovers and petrol heads. Many impressed with the monster that lay under the bonnet of Carls viper. He was only too keen to ask any questions that many threw at him!

We took turns to have a look around the rest of the display. We cant really leave two vipers and a ram unattended as there were a few kids who had not yet been told the phrase "look with your eyes, not your hands". After scoffing some local cuisine (one of the best chippies I've had in a while!) I managed to whip out the camera. But at there were so many people at the event, HDR shots were not really going to happen. So single frame and some touch ups were left!

After a few hours of bathing in the sun and flashes from other cameras, we headed back home. I got sunburn on my neck, and was then very ill due to something dodgey. But all was well afterwards! All in all, a successful mission!
