Wow, thats a bit special. I wonder how much that will be? Great idea, suprised no one has done it already. How long has the T56 been a round now. I've got one in my 99' Camaro, did they fit them in the first gen Vipers?

Yep the 56 gearbox was designed for the Viper Even the casings had a Viper logo

Not in Viper fitment though, as that's a Camaro setup. Who knows if they'll develop one for the Viper or not.

Only benefit in this instance is it should eliminate the possibility of missed gears, as it's just bolted to a normal synchro box.

So shifts wont really be any faster etc as the same mechanical limitations apply with the shifting mech inside the box.

If you had a non synchro box, ie dog, faceplated etc then the seq shifter would be of slightly more benefit.

PPG do offer a sequential kits for the T56...it's a pretty penny though. It'd be as cheap if not cheaper to install an aftermarket sequential though and it would give you far more gear ratio options

Pricing seems to be around AUS$3400, or USD$2700

Apparently this doesnt include the load cell or gear display. Although I find the latter hard to believe.
