one thing I distinctly remember was a the Star Trek futuristic gear knob, or was it Blake Seven ! wonder if its still attached to the car, great memories have come flooding back

BTW the gear knob is still in my garage.

Going to meet up with the vet boys tommorrow at Surrey Rolling Road.....booked a slot too.

Must take the camera.

cool, you should quickly change gear knobs, the 'old' one is so bling its got to be worth an exta 20bhp,

Shoebag and Viperdave are making the 1.30 slot, be interesting comprassion between your 3 vipers.

a few hints, as soon as you arrive pop the hood and let some cool air into the engine, this is what Nad and I learnt when we did dyno runs a few years back. Much better to starting off fairly cold if possible, by the time you've manouvered and got into position, and idled for a bit the viper will be warmed up. The car will soon get warm when its banging the redline in every gear

Lift the hood you know to the first point where it lifts up by the nose when actually doing the run, helps get the air in from the fans. Keep your eye on the temp guage while the guy is driving if possible, just incase of overheating and he doesnt spot it
Make sure the car is strapped down at the rear. Top speed is acheived in 5th, not 6th gear. If you have to get off the rollers to cool before another run, again keep the hood up. You shouldnt really have over heating problems this time of year though

Had a text from Shoebag, bumble bee kicked out a impressive 494 bhp and ViperDave did 460, cool numbers.
