Wo there today might have been perfect but be careful in the morning with the frost. Those tyres really don’t have much grip when cold and on cold road. The temperature really does affect the handling of these things.

Anyhow enough warnings, welcome to viper ownership. I’m sure Paul or Neil will be along shortly to get you signed up for the VCA etc.

Congratulations. Now lets see the pics.

My baby is European spec, ordered the following per Jon @ Partsrack suggestion..."1 ECU, Mopar 1997 PCM, US Spec" I'm not going to install it until I get a feel for the pro's and con's, appreciate anybody's thoughts...Had to sneak it in though while the wife is still in shock. Had to get rid of my former obsession (1979 Porsche 911SC Turbobodied Slantnose)..wife is convinced I'll miss that car and the Porsche Club of Great Britian gatherings...Yea right! I'm gonna show up to the next PCGB regional meeting in my GTS, grinning from one ear to the other.

dont know anyone in the club who has swapped their ECU on a standard euro yet, think the few extra HP gain isnt worth the expense. Believe theres more Hp's by swapping for K&N's and smooth tubes, and making sure the restrictor is removed from the airbox. (if your car is one of the ex:Silverstone vipers the restrictors were still in place when we viewed them earlier on in the year)Your corsa will take care of the euro exhaust problems, more so if you swap for hi-flow cats

Be interesting to see if there are any noticeable gains
in the ECU swap

Also interested to see if power gains are felt. Also your find the Boys and Girls at the Viper U.K meets some of the best folks in Blighty..(Ah..Miss you guys! and Girls)so you will get a realy warm welcome form everyone...not a single bad bone in them....But.....DO NOT...get involved with issues connected with Viper seats....it could get ugly!..even more so when a Spud and Skunk get involved....so please just don,t go there! You have been warned!(Pisst....I,ve got a lovely pair of spare Sparco Seats in my shed your welcome to..but buy must collect!

Still getting used to all the attention the car gets! I've had people ask me to remain parked an extra 5 minutes while they run home and get a camera...It's been running great, what a beast! Still waiting for the Corsa Exhaust to arrive, also ordered an adjustable rear wing. I'm hoping the wife doesn't notice it, we'll see...Cheers

A word of advice the guys at your local Porsche Club gathering will not appreciate the Viper...thats if they're anything like the guys at mine.

I regularly turn up to my local in the Porsche and thought that these guys are real car enthusiasts they'll appreciate a fine example of a Blue with white GTS......How wrong could I be.

I think that it must have bought back memories of Le Mans...

Not true car enthusiasts like me...I can appreciate almost anything if its got four wheels.

Hi Dad's toy, You have a PM regarding your rear wing. I will hopefully start manufacturing rear wings for vipers, a lot cheaper than the ones in the US

Great place for the pic. I did the same thing with my porker before the GTS. You are quite nearby..so might be entertaining for people in your neighbourhood to see 2 blue & whites together.
