C6 ZR1 v SRT Viper

I find the ceramic brake combo a bit odd on the Corvette, From what I know about ceramic rotors (which isn't much) is they take time to warm up and are not great when cold, also very expensive to replace?
SRT Opted for Stoptech metal rotors, which work straight off from cold and are cheaper to replace
So find it odd that they raved about them on the Corvette?
Then there was the next question on the tyres, I believe they mentioned sport cups? Are they now running Michelin? Cups are not great in cold climates (according to Neil)
I know Vipers are now running Prelli
And finally lets not forget the Corvette has a little bolt on item stuck on top of the engine

Well they had done a few laps and warmed them up no doubt, SRT Opted for Stoptech metal rotors, which work straight off from cold and are cheaper to replace
