Its a general car day, so there will probably be some track only cars running. Its a great track with decent run offs in most places and a very well run track day.

I like the look of that circuit so I will try and make it. Will I get to see the black beast or are you taking something else Joel?

its the biggest track in the UK Tony, with lots of flat grass run off and long straight where you can reach quite a speed

its also rather the best ive been to outside Silverstone, condition wise, all nice, smart and tidy

Think I lapped Fishy twice within about 4 laps....I suppose he must have been doing a lot of cooling down !! biggrin Some day he'll have another real car smile

No Skunk for Bedford, way too noisy, (and way too scary) but the Celica is great fun there. Hoping to see if my front brake upgrade (Avensis brakes) is better (or worse).

cannot take a day off so will have to pass. However thinking of doing the 24th May with Javelin....209 GBP. Might have to take the m3 as not really keen on fitting again baffles to the Viper. I love the sound now but really miss going to track days with the non restrictive baffles

Was a great trackday, lots of nice cars, the usual MSV trackday efficiency, warm dry weather.....and no damage done. Got some Go-Pro footage, here is the second run of the day. smile

BTW, whose was the red GTS that was in the car park at the briefing, but never appeared at the pits ?

that would be mine, failed noise test frown which would be why it never made it to the pits

Two Radical RXC's turned up later, the V8 and the V6 turbo....super fast, but also whisper quiet, sounded like electric cars on the track. All the Caterhams seemed to have an extra silencer tacked on the back too. The Viper was probably about 10db over the limit with that Borla/hi flow setup !
The noise regs are a bit ridiculous, but I guess we have to learn to live with them. Thank goodness for havens of noise like Pod and Avon Park biggrin

I have belangers, 3in high flow cats, 3in borlas and 3in back pipes no rear muffler. with baffles I can just get it to 101.3 and they let me go....but depending on the day I have to shortshift where the mics are

Good to know, I will look into making the viper less noisy for the track but can't live without the noise day to day smile
