Competition car insurance, they mostly rate against value and BHP bands and millage, more or less within those bands you can mod as much as you like so long as its sensible, Ie don't fit a supercharger and then change 16" brembos for drum brakes. They are loading commuting at the moment though

There is a link to them from our support crew page http://www.driveviper.co.uk/support_crew.html

Hey guys

So I fill in the online quote , the section where it states usage i selected car show ,not going to be doing any track , race stuff . Why they have a box for show car i do not know .
Do you guys actually drive your cars on the road lol biggrin
This is the reply .

Good Afternoon,
Many thank for your email concerning a quotation for Show use of a Chevrolet Corvette.
Unfortunately we do not offer cover for Show use, our CCI Policies are purely for Competition Usage.
My apologies for this but please do keep CCI in mind for any further quotations.

Kind Regards,
Simon

Er, yes, we all have 6 Track days included in out policy, they are there even if we don't use them wink

But they recognise Parade Laps at the Le mans Classic, and The Supercar event at Dunsfold Surrey, So it works for me.

You should include the track days and see what price they come up with wink Flux came in very close to the CCI price this year but would not do track use.

Give them a call and try again wink

Yeah, best to use the phone and ask for the road sports car dept, although you do raise a valid point regarding insurance when on display at shows, and wonder if i am insured for such activities, there always was a worry about the clause of no third party cover at a motorsports venue, i'm assuming this is for on track use which is fair enough but it could conceivably include public areas at things like the Silverstone Classic.
