This won't make for pleasant viewing for any car fans and particularly a Viper fan.
During the 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday the #33 GTD Class SRT Viper caught fire while running behind the safety car when the driveline broke which in turn broke the fuel lines. Driver Ben Keating got out safely.
I took nearly 15 minutes to full extinguish the fire which was way too long and so the car was a lot more badly damaged than it probably should have been, this is something IMSA needs to address.
On a more positive note the #93 Viper did get a second place finish in the GTLM Class.
The #91 managed to crash at Turn 17 right next to me.
The repairs weren't pretty!
Also saw a Viper TA (actually 2 in the SRT parking).

Thanks for the pics
The Good news is that the fire was NOT as bad as first thought AND WILL BE BACK RACING MAY 4th at Luguna
