Ever added up those little extras!
Discussion
Insurance time again so I thought I better review value and my accessory's,
So just adding up the US Dollar amount of the one or two little extras on the car, I had to sit down.
.....Not including the set of CCW Classic or BBS wheels its just added up to £10.350.00
And that's not including the shipping or duty!
Rule to self, Make sure missus does not see this thread
Dread to think what that Baz bloke has spent!

I think its a tricky one with mods as some buyers might not want the mods a particular car has so wont put much value in them or even be put off by them, you also have the problem that many that want a highly modified car probably want to do the work themselves, either so they know what and how stuff has been done or because most of their enjoyment is the process.
I have always assumed that the money spent on things like this was for my own enjoyment, and unfortunately the best value when selling, but not always possible, is to return the car to standard and sell the extras separately.
Its also unfortunately dubious that even if you have declared all the mods (as you should) and with a estimated value of the car + mods, you will still probably find yourself in a fight with the insurance to get anything other than a pay out for a standard car. That's where agreed value insurance comes in.
