where is everyone on viper forum hibernating

Hello where is everyone no action since Monday on viper forum?

I'm too busy in the garage working on mine to be on the forum

It seems almost everyone in the UK Club communicates now Via Facebook, the forum here is dead.

I post most evenings on the new VOA website and update events in the UK section.

Sadly I think Pistonheads is not the place it once was!

I don't do Facebook so have no clue what the rest of em are up to!

there's not much happening on the UK viper Facebook Mark , only two posts since dec 31st. Most seem to stay in touch through their own personal Facebook page

I Think you guys are right there is a lot more happening on facebook a lot of viper guys from around the world

Still here even though 5300 miles away! But as you say, mostly use Facebook now and the VOA is quite active on there, so don't tend to use this so much. Problem is, as it's used less and less, I come here less and less so it's a self fulfiling decline

Is there not enough Viper owners for you to create your own Viper forum? With the Piston Heads one i think there is a bit missing. When i had my Viper i use to follow the US on and the French one

Just had a quick look at the link and it seems the french group are having a meet on the 7,8,9,june may be an excuse for a qiuck trip accross the channel!!!!!!!

They are really a nice bunch. My Viper went to France to one of there forum member. Stingray one of the Mods speaks English so worth posting an Hello if you plan a meet

I still check out this forum quite frequently, more so than I need to due to content but my PH favourite links to the viper forum so I always come here first.

I guess its pointless asking here as everyone has already left, but what do people want from a website? I think it will be hard to get people away from facebook without inventing the next social media big thing as its just so convenient to post pics on from you mobile and share with your friends, I just find its not a format that promotes discussion very much, more look at me, this it what I'm up to, followed by a few lol's and "you idiot"

There are plans afoot to have a small forum of our own but its intention is more for private club matters rather than general discussion like PH. My concern would also be further dilution, there is already, PH,VOA,VCA,VA,VG so I don't think the problem is lack of a place to talk, I think the problem is the loss to the club of a few of the prolific thread starters along with facebook.

I think if you would have a very nice UK Viper forum owners will want to be part of it.

When i had an M3 CSL i wasn't really inspired to come to the CSL PH forum but i am still a paying member to the CSL Register forum even if and i don't have a CSL anymore as the forum is great fun. http://www.cslregister.com/forum/
