Reading through Freddie's e.mail today it would seem that there are two sides to the story. Unfortunately I cannot make the Christmas get together but that would be an ideal chance to have a good discussion (prior to having a few beers)about the pro's and con's of each organisation. What we don't want is to split the club so I will go with the majority.

I can't see the VCA surviving to long as a huge majority of the regions are moving to the VOA. No influx of membership money to keep it afloat and no dodge backing either.

I think you'll find Tony the UK region has already moved to VOA ? as the Union flag is on their map of club regions

Yes I agree Neil but possibly it was a knee jerk reaction rather than listening to both sides of the argument. As I said I am happy to go along with the consensus but it still must be worth spending half an hour discussing each side of the argument,then at least it is an informed decision which I am sure the rest of the membership will go along with. Just sorry I cant be with you in December as it is always most enjoyable, or at least what I remember of it through cloudy wine glasses.

I don't know, I got the email, its a lot of money and a lot of unknowns.

I started a thread on the voa uk forum to "sell me the voa" but so far only mark has contributed from the uk
