Hi,
I'm new to vipers but always wanted one, already have a 68 fastback and 13 gt500 in the garage, and I'm looking at a 2002 gts for sale in the states at the minute. Not having owned a viper before I thought it might ask around if anyone has any guidance to offer on the car here is a link to the car I'm looking at.

Many thanks, nick.

Nice looking car!

There is a very good guide on what to look for and I recently found it on Google:

Hi there are couple of things with this car 1st of all the amount of previous keepers i think 7 in total and also it is a bog standard car and you could end up £££ on mods by the time you have shipped the vehicle duty VAT and other expenses you will touching £40.000 you could buy one today over here for much lees then that

Not standard with exhaust mods and after market wheels...

Plenty of US club members will check it out for you...

Being over 10 years old NO IVA needed just an MOT...

I mean from an advertising point its not stock ... But yes almost stock compared to ours .....

You would need a close to / stock car to get through IVA ...

Thanks for the advice, so this gts wouldn't need a iva test as it's over 10 years old?

That's correct ... Anything over 10yrs does not require an IVA ...

If you like the RT/10's chuck tator in NY had a nice supercharged one with 6k on the clock ....

thank's, I am really interested in one as close to original as possible, I plan to keep the 13 gt500 which i have modded to 800 hp. so I would like to keep the viper untouched so to speak, whats the asking price of a 2002 gts in the uk right now?
