New Viper club VOA Is up and running

Last night during a conference call with all interested parties, a vote took place by region and the Viper Owners Association was born at 11:00PM est. 09/26/2013.
Now that we have the official name, things will be proceding very quickly.
A startup board (for the next 6-12 months, then an election) was approved by the "charter" regions and will consist of
President - Maurice Liang
Vice President - Alex Ristanovic
Secretary - Janni Cone
Treasurer - (TBD, actively looking for someone with an accounting background)
The Launch Team is in place:
o Janni Cone (Corporate setup)
o Jim Johnson (By-law committee)
o Alex Ristanovic (Website)
o Randall Arnold (Membership)
o Maurice Liang (Viper Quarterly)
o Jim Johnson (Events)
o Steve Ferguson (Insurance)
o Adrian Byrd and Chuck Tator (Vendors & sponsors program)
The new Board of Directors will consist of the VOA Regional Presidents.

This is a great day to be a Viper owner!
Met up with Maurice and the NorCal Viper Club tonight for a meal in San Jose. Quite a good turnout of Viper's and good to meet some really nice people. Listened to Maurice tell the whole VCA/VOA story and where we are at now. That guy has been through so much, but still positive and happy. I think the new club will be fun.
I also got to win an SRT T-Shirt in the raffle and made to feel very welcome. Just missing the car...!
