Hi Guys,

Hoping somebody can answer a question for me. My right side (passenger) lower control arm has snapped and i'm in need of a new one, however finding one is proving to be very difficult. I can find a lower arm for the LEFT side (drivers) of the car, but will this fit either side? I've been told both yes it will fit and no it won't, any advice on fitting or where I could get a lower arm for the right side.

Cheers,
Craig

I'm having control arm fun-n-games at the moment too with the whole front right suspension and wheel hub assembly out and on the workbench. They look interchangeable to me.

As said above Chuck Tator is your fist call ... But with parts now getting hard to get you may struggle with new ....

Paul Scharf will be your second person to call ..

As far as I know you can swap left/right sides. You just need to move the mounting points. Simple case of undoing some bolts.

Well, while we're in the mood for marketing control arms, I'm in the for one as well - don't care if it/they're left or right, top or bottom.

Ade.

I saw a couple of CNC'd ones in Scotland a few years ago.....they looked great and appeared much stronger than the OE castings, however I'm not sure if the constructor would be interested in making any more. Might be a good way to go though.

Wow, that looks the business - short of a couple of holes though - I bet it much stronger than the original cast units - does anyone know who made it?
