Hey guys, this link has just been passed around the ZR1.net. Being into bikes and cars I thought it was quite good.

Check it out

www.gigatechsoftware.com/cars/VIPER-race-small.wmv

Thats one quick car to be able to run with those bikes like that.

Yeah, a blown Viper will run strong against such bikes! (but needs to be from a 60-70 mph + roll, for comfortable advantage VIPER!)

Last time a ran against a Busa, he hit the rev limiter in 6th, I didn't!!!! Had more to go and we were side by side...! race track of course

The Busa leaves my stock R1 (not in the twisties ) But an R1 scares me more than Viper, Vipers are the DB's

Hey Gixer, give us your comments on the GSXR1000 compared to straight line Busa WOT? Are they about the same? I was lucky enough to get to have a little ride on both such bikes and I thought they felt similar for 'seat-of-the-pants' power, but Busa for sheer straight line, GSXR for overall road and track. Was surprised at how well the Busa handles though.

...wanta run a Viper?

I used to ride with a busa, they are quicker. The Busa just pulls that tiny bit harder and it can keep it up all the way to the top. For a big long bike they handle really well. Thing with going fast on the bike as opposed to the car is that the bike is soooo much more settled and nimble at very high speed. Given the choice of pulling 180 in the car or the bike I feel safer on the bike.

BTW stock GSXR's are restricted to 186mph- not sure if that includes the Busa or not.

I'm always up for some fun. The plan was to run with Cliff's modded ZR1 this year but he run into problems (see vette threads) so that never happened.
