According to the '93 RT/10 Service Manual they recommend Mopar High Performance Synthetic Axle Lube SAE 75 W/140 (MS-8985). It also says that a container of Mopar Gear Additive (friction modifier) should also be added after a lubricant change. The air flow is limited and the diff can heat up to 300F. Therefore only synthetic lubes provide protection. Petroleum based axle lubricants may break down under these conditions. The rear axle fluid capacity is 45 Fl Oz - includes 4 Fl Ozs of friction modifier.
