Just had new tyres all round and what a difference, amazing, however my car is taking longer to start (not related obviously, its been doing this a while now) anyway it seems to spin over fast enough on the starter, and starts eventually, a lot lot longer than it used to, once it fires up it seems to run perfectly, done a couple of hundred miles in it the weekend and no problems apart from starting issues, this is not only from cold start up but from normal temp start up also.
Now without renewing practically everything, apart from the spark splugs as they are new, is there a common thing it could be, any suggestions would be fully appreciated, thanks guys

Do you have a Gen 1 viper????
If so its not uncommon for them to turn over 4 or 5 times before starting..
The check valve in the tank fails.. its easier to just prime the system by turning the ignition on and of 3 or 4 times to re-prime the fuel lines...
Hi thanks guys and especially Dr-Bob it seems as though the above is the problem, is it possible to renew the nrv with the tank in situ? If so its not uncommon for them to turn over 4 or 5 times before starting..
