Looking for a Viper....again
Discussion
Hi….again.
I was looking for a Viper some 6 months ago and ended up with a TVR Sagaris. With house move, car rationalisation and a host of other considerations am back on the Viper trail again.
Does anyone know the two RT/10s for sale in the classifieds?…or do you know someone with similar who may well be selling?
Never know may do it this time…..

I don't know anything about those cars, the Black one is located in the Brighton area in Sussex. Its not a million miles from me, I could take a look over it for you if that car is your preference?
Get the Vin number and get a Carfax Check done on the car. The dealer should give you the Vin.
You can check the build date of the car from the sticker on the inside of the drivers door when you open it. Tyres should be put into your budget when searching. Lots of tread means bugger all, the rubber goes hard from heat cycles and you may come unstuck due to the torque.
Shifter is stock as is interior, radio, CD player is also stock.
Not sure on the stripes, would have to check the registry to find out if they have been added on?

Thanks.....looked at red one and am going to see the one at Tempest tomorrow. Carfax all OK. Get the Vin number and get a Carfax Check done on the car. The dealer should give you the Vin.

Having come from the TVR world where club etc is active I trust the Viper club also has a reasonable amount of activity?……
Pretty sure I've seen the black one out and about in the last year or so. If you are interested in Shoreham there is a garage called Harwoods (their Jaguar branch). One of their chief engineers (Andy) is a Viper Tech - very very few of them in the UK and its literally minutes from Tempest. Their service manager (Mark) might know of the car if it is a local one although with data protection probably not able to tell you much.
Also, if you have not seen it check this book out (its all here online for free): http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=_F3DdKrQ79cC&am...
Hope this helps - and that the weather is kind to you tomorrow...
