Mine leaves for N.J. on tuesday on a truck

I spoke to the shippers and they told me to give it a good coat of wax, make sure there is plenty of anti freeze in there. and get it insured!!??

mine just arrived, shipping roll on/roll off is a big risk with such a car, it sits on the dock waiting for the ship to arrive, some stranger is going to drive it on board, people are going to be walking by it and some other stranger is going to drive it from board.
i shipped it in a 20 ft container which is about the same costwise and you can have it packed in thick kinda bubblesheets or a cover, insurance overhere would put insurance on the car but would not cover scratches....
good luck

I would only ship via a sole use 20 ft container! It shouldn't cost anymore than £1200 from NJ. I wouldn't even begin to think about taking roll on/off risks.
