2005 The Year of the VCA????
Discussion
As I am sure you are aware over the last couple of years we have picked up many new members mainly due to Steve K's hard work and magazine articles and adverts.
As the group is so small it still seems pointless to collect any form of membership fees as the last thing Steve or I need is another set of accounts to do.
Therefore as of next year we would like all of you to join the VCA in the USA for $45.00 per year this will give you access to Viper notes at least 6 times a year, this will inform you of what the UK and the viper world will be doing over the coming months and Viper the magazine.
I will send out membership forms in early December to each of you can join and at just £26 per year I think its a real bargain.
Our group would then be know as The 'Viper Club of America' UK Region and every event we do will be under this banner.
I know in the past Venom was disgruntled with the VCA due mainly to no pro rata membership but they can assist us to grow our region and provide a point of contact via the US chat site.
Hopefully next year will also see the first VOIE1 the first European Viper meet and remember its most opportune as Dodge are trying to get back into Europe.
As we find new owners I will send them a back issue of the magazine and Viper Notes, Steve will send them one mailing, if they fail to join or attend any meets we will simply cross them off our list. (we will however still track the VIN).
Any takers or objections please contact me and I'll send you out a magazine or listen to your ideas.
Even better offer to do this job or send me some articles or pitures for the magazine.
On the subject of the name Viper, we can expect no support from the UK for any events as they can not be associated with it, they just wrote us off!!!!!!
Really looking forward to the dinner and seeing so many old friends.

No the magazine subscription is different you do not need to own a Viper for that but if you have asked for the mag in the past thats what you are a subsciber.
No I will mail out the proper form and then you will be a member you can tell the difference as a member gets the membership card with your name on plus a little trinket each year, diary, badge, or keyring.

Re-newed today, join in Jan and get a full years membership.
Wonder how long before the new membership cards arrive, they wait until there is a decent size batch then have them printed (for those that are waiting)
the magazine is getting better all the time and we now have regular in-between viper notes, thanks Paul.

Yep phoned them up early Dec and after some confusion over the cost and if they could do it direct or if it was supposed to be done through Paul they took my credit card details and that was the last I have heard, nothing billed to my card yet. But then last year the first I knew about it was when the mag turned up in the spring, and I joined in October.
