anyone fancy a day at the Pod, Friday 12th July, limited to x100 cars/bikes so you can get plenty of runs in through out the day.

Spud is running Skunk and Baz has booked BumbleBee up.

Think I would need a new Clutch before attempting that. Got the back end all upgraded, so the weakest link would be the clutch!

Thanks for posting the link, I will check the diary and might come along to watch smile

loose your wing off Ade, and youll save some time

I was at Bruntingthorpe with Nad and she gained an extra +9mph when top speed testing down the long straight

The shocking thing is, that was in 2008 and I haven't been to a proper strip since.

Time just flies....and so will the skunk !

Cairncastle is in 2 weeks...and it's very local, and a fast one.

Much better test of man and machine ( which is why I'm not doing it lol )

2008 must have been the airfield in Denmark smile, doesn't seem like 5 years ago. I'll be quite happy to be a mouse and not put my Viper anywhere near Cairncastle, I know that I would crash it there ! And I'll be very happy just to get my car driving again, changing gear, braking etc without aiming for any times at all. This will be the first time I will have driven it in 6 years, and I'm just glad that I have it almost all in one piece and in my garage ! Hopefully everything will work, nothing will break and I can see what it feels like again smile And hopefully the sun will shine biggrin

2008 was Denmark, and also Santa Pod/Mopar when I ran my 9's and some old yank motor bust it's diff lol

Craigantlet is just after TOTB, so all being well I want to do it. It isnt quite as fast as Cairncastle, but should still be great fun

I actually did do Cairncastle a few times almost 25 years ago in the TR7V8 and set a time which I was quite proud of, think it was about 1 min 25 secs. Also did Craigantlet a couple of times...a 2nd in class there, but unlike Caircastle its changed a bit since then. Always thought Glenariff was the scariest of all....always wet in places...massive drop offs and really high speed. Its not used any more !
