GTS-R2 quali pole CA
Discussion
Dominik does it again... he's just set a new lap record and qualified first in GT-class at Long Beach CA, ALMS.
The GTS-R2 race number 91 car ran 1.18:845 @ 89.857 mph, with the sister car race number 93 not far behind 3rd quali in GT-class at 1.18:984. This is the first Team Viper pole since 2000 racing.

BMWs came 1st and 2nd ......I think? I recorded it so I will have a quick check and get back to confirm it
There were a couple of Driver Errors by the SRT team which cost them dear!
....1st and 2nd BMW Z4s running V8 Engines! Not available in road form, so not sure how they got around the rules with that one?
The Viper guys are saying the tires were past their best by the end of the race, but Missed braking points and missed shifts also played their part ....And of course you always need a little bit of Luck
A good result overall though

Thanks for posting the results Mark,....must get motors TV or something similar sorted out. I had no idea BMW were doing so well in motorsport and to be honest both these cars (BMW Z4M and SRT ) are on my radar, but I've got a little time to figure on which one....(Exige is also a contender).
