Yes, they can't spell biggrin

They used to hold this show on the old runway at Brooklands then the Germans finally won and took the airfield over! I liked it there as it did not matter too much what the weather was like (tarmac), but now driving down into a grass bowl on the edge of an army camp and quite frankly st British weather does not exactly inspire me frown

Last year was great, baking hot and a massive turn out. Its a good venue in the sun excepting the traffic. This year.. No chance.

Wile I do agree its a sandy area normally with good drainage, the difference is we have had almost non stop rain for bloody months now, the ground is saturated and a few cars moving back and forth over the same part of ground, after a wile I don't think the place will fair well.

Last weekend even the London to Brighton Vintage motorcycle run got cancelled due to the crap weather!

I don't think 2 days of non rain will dry the area out enough, good luck if your going, Im not.

Yep I'm going. I'm sure it'll be fine. They always park the Vettes on the grass right next to the road anyway. Be nice if it was warmer though.

But it is getting warmer, there is only a small patch of snow left in the garden, even that will probably be gone tomorrow. oh hang on snow is forecast again for the next two days

To fair, it's been so cold that there is really only one way it can go.

Did Neil mention he was going away?
