I think you might have to leave it charging a while.
Pity you don't have the GTS, cos then you'd just open the hatch with the key, reach in and pull the emergency open on the door wink

ETA - I don't have an SRT so I don't know/can't help. frown That was helpful wasn't it ?

Have you read your manual and used the hidden lock ?

'The driver’s door can be opened mechanically by inserting
your key into the lock located on the underside of the
door panel, beneath the outside mirror'

Not sure where the Battery is on the Later Gen cars but you could also run an Additional Battery in Series like this smile

http://www.zbattery.com/Connecting-Batteries-in-Se...

Vipers always loose Battery power due to the Alarm, power clocks etc, and being as your not in a situation where you can permantly hook up power, running an aditional battery could be the way to go smile

Make sure its bolted down securley and put it inside one of these wink

Just a thought, how is the battery in your key fob. I had to be replace mine last week when I went to open up after a couple of months in hibernation. And yes it passed the MOT hip hip hooray ready for Luton

As Mark said wd, they are prone to seize up from lack of use, and moisture getting in. Most owners don't even know it exists,

never had to use it on the old blue one but It did work, though I did have it oiled up

Lean on the door at the same time to ease pressure ... May not work just turning key ...

Maybe the previous owner has experienced the same issue and has a solution?....... idea

Takes the shine off a new toy when this happens, it can make or break the bond between man and machine!

All else fails I'll take it off your hands!? scratchchin

HOORAY the beast is alive!!

i tried the key on the panel once more and put a bit more pressure on an hey presto it opened the door...
got in,fired her up all is well, the door solenoids started operating again and the remote is working ok...maybe it needed more charge..
ah to get in and hear that V10 burble...luvly jubly.
i,ll just have to keep it charged up an now the weathers getting better i,ll be using it more.
i can cope with charging it up,it was just the fact i couldnt get in it was sending me into mental mode..
happy now and thanks guys for your help
