S V A and tinted windows.

anyone know if tinted windows on a viper gts will cause problems with the S V A test?

Had Limo black on the side and rear windows of the C3 Corvette for 12 plus years and never had any problems.

If In doubt roll down the windows as far as I'm aware only the swept area of the windscreen is a testable item.

As an x copper be advised that they may do a light meter test which will check how much light can pass through the tint.

In the last few years traffic cars have also been so equiped.

Not sure but I also think its part of the MOT.

Partial tint is OK Full tint Vehicle Defect Scheme.

Ie fix it then check at MOT station.
