Well, the new years almost here so it's time we all started thinking about anything we wanna do different this year. What are we gonna do in 2013? Time to voice up...

My four pence:-
Some of the usual things, I'm sure, like Luton Lunch in March and hopefully the Super Car Event at Dunsfold, assuming we're invited back, plus other show and shines I'm sure.
We did the Silverstone Classic too which we could repeat and start looking at making a regular annual event.
We also have the framework for our own off road driving event at North Weald followed by Santa Pod, lunch, Siverstone etc - tweek this event a little to make it a bit more appealing and you've got a good value for money weekend activity.
Bolocco in Italy will be early July - still hoping to combine time at the Ring en-route.
Not forgetting La Mans 24 hrs is mid June.

Any ideas on any of these or organising differently?
Any ideas on anthing else you wanna do?

Ade driving

The track day at Silverstone in 2011 was a great day so perhaps we should do it again. They did not seem to fussed on db levels.

I was also thinking of attending this in 2013 for a change

http://motorsportatthepalace.co.uk/

If any parties are interested could either set up a static stand or possibly Parade laps?

Oh, in case your wondering where this is, its the race track featured in the Michael Cane film 'The Italian Job' this is where they crash tested the Minis and Blew the Bloody Doors off the van biggrin

The reason I got invited back so soon is because i'm a regular at the Ace Cafe meets, so I see the guys who organise this often wink The official return invites have not gone out yet (as far as i'm aware) smile

Autumn Classic Prescott October 5th/6th 2013. Has had an American theme for the past 2 years
It would be good to see a load of Vipers in the car park. If you contacted them and mentioned how many were going they might give you a designated area for the "Viper Club UK"
Take a look at www.prescott-hillclimb.com and also look at their "Images" ...gives you a taste of what to expect.
In my opinion the British Hillclimb Championships are the most exciting ...but then I'm biased !

What about a dyno day? Think I've spelt it right this time.
We didn't quite make it this year.

I'd also suggest clay pigeon, gokarting and paintballing but I'm not so sure ..... smile

Well next year I'll probably be driving past Bonneville for the third time since we decided to do a club road trip there

Sorry Dave - this either pre-dates me or more likely I was asleep when it was discussed ...
Care to fill in the gaps?

'twas a few years back in 2008, little Dave was not even GTSDave back then and most of the viper club actually had vipers

Needles to say it went the same way as the dyno day, karting and shooting, all happened but with only one or two peeps, we were the only ones to make it to Bonneville, all be it in January, Drove past again last year on a search for snow and will probably see it again soon from the I80 although our route isn't set yet.

What about re-arranging the Vette v Viper again at santapod on a run what you bring day? I organized this once with Nigel aka vetteheadracer from the Vette forum, we had about 20 cars turn up, but we got very unlucky with the weather, not one run all day...ggggrrrr

I ended up throwing the trophies in the bin, as I foolishly had the date engraved into them

With Brett's Vette connections it shouldn't be to difficult to sort out
