VCA trip to Le Mans
Discussion
I can rcommend where I stayed this year, secure camping own private bar and showers security on the gate, and 15 meters from the track. What was even more important was the access with the cars, easy site to get in and out of. Walking distance to tram and no iditos shouting at you to do wheel spins etc.
The 24hrs is very very diffrent to the classsic.
Take a look at this video...this is by the entrance to Karting Nord where we stayed for the classic

Unfortunately I read that Karting Nord will no longer be used for camping as they are developing the Go kart site The 24hrs is very very diffrent to the classsic.

From the VCA site
"Looking into rooms in Angers, France. Beautiful town and lots of hotels under $100. David lives there. About 90 miles from Le Mans. About 30 min train ride. Not saying that this is what is going to happen, just looking at different options right now."
Me,
Ive just contacted the guys at Team Langoustine who provide secure parking / camping private showers beer tent etc. They only have 10 pitches left on that site at Tet Rouge! cost is £480 per car with two general entrance tickets included in the price. TL would need to know ASAP (within the next couple of days if anyone is interested).
You have a choice here. Take your Viper to Le mans and pay a premium for safe camping / parking at the circuit, enjoy the great driving roads down there. .......Or take a shed down and stay in one of the other campsites at a lesser cost!
Not sure what to do really
Any thoughts?

OK for information, I booked the TL Secure private camping at Tet Rouge corner today, I have reserved 9 pitches.
So that's
Myself (in Viper)
Neilfishing ...In something. Booked for this site
The other pitches are for the guys who came down with us earlier in the year and stayed on this site.
TL expects to sell out by the weekend, so if your dithering on the side lines as to weather to go or not in your Viper, you better contact them quick!
Unlike some of the other prices, TL's price is for the car, so if you have a 5 seater, you could split the cost 5 ways. Or two ways in a Viper
