Like, massively.
Perhaps if we put in a bulk order we can get a discount!
Even so though, at $99,000 it's fantastically cheap for what you get! And it has an 8.4L V10!
On a more serious note and not to put too much of a downer on it, but, 1) you'll be lucky and 2) it will cost a lot more than $99,000. For a start there aren't that many being made in this MY although indications are there may be a small number headed for the worldwide export market.Perhaps if we put in a bulk order we can get a discount!

if you try an source a US one, unless you have a US address or good friend with one, you will come up against the dealer franchise agreement which means they cant sell new for export. Some may be helpful and register it for you to the dealership then sell it used. but if they do then expect to pay local state sales tax. A dealer in sacramento was prepared to do this for me but the sales tax would have added another 7%, so you are already up to $105,930 and you haven't added any options yet.
Once you get it on the boat and over here, its going to be pretty hard to argue the value is less than the actual sale price on a vehicle with delivery mileage, in demand and selling at msrp. so + £2k shipping + 10% duty +20% vat now your up to £90032 just to clear the docks. round that up to £91000 for conversion, iva and registration. That £62000 car ain't so cheap now!
now you may get lucky and find someone big like tomball with loads in stock and willing to do a deal, and is also prepared to sell for export and do the paperwork right so you don't pay the local taxes you may get it cheaper, but I'm not sure that will happen in 2013.
New Hampshire has no sales tax. I think one or two other states also have no sales taxes. Montana, Delaware etc.
Helps having a US brother in law to be the first owner. So perhaps do a US trip, rack up loads of miles and perhaps buy it off him at a fair price representative of the huge mileage he puts on it before importing to the UK.
Sounds like a plan anyway. Sapphire blue or White maybe for me. Standard SRT, no extra's.. Though track pack may be of interest.
Will have to wait until the crazy period ends and they come down to MSRP. Lead time for orders placed today is spring 2013 so delivery in May/June!
Better to wait for the early recalls and fixes to be incorporated and the initial rush subsides, also for the best headers to be identified. The stock manifolds still look pretty bad.

I'm with you, except that I want mine in red. Don't see the need for a the GTS, or a million and one extras. That would miss the point in my opinion. Interesting about those states with no sales tax though, didn't know that before. I'm also after a Boss 302 Mustang, a Corvette ZR-1 and a Camaro... Hmmm.Sounds like a plan anyway. I'm not sold on the look of the new car yet. I especially don't like the front of it, far too fussy. I'm wondering if perhaps its too good a car and has lost some of its jury rigged but works appeal.
I'm watching ZL1 Camaros at the moment, waiting for them to start hitting a decent used value... Not this year or next I think!
