It is with heavy heart and many tears that i have some very sad news ,that this evening Paul lost his fight with cancer.
For me he opened many doors in the last 8 years and because of that , have made many great friends and done many things
that without him , would have never happened , and for that i thank him .
He was always full of beans and the most generous of people
and was a true petrol head !
Paul thank you for everything !!!
Pauls family have expressed not to have flowers but instead would like donations to cancer research http://donateinmemory.cancerresearchuk.org/0003257
There is a humanist ceremony for Paul on Wednesday 31st October 2012, 12:00 midday at the Enfield Crematorium on the A10, Post code EN1 4DS – everyone is welcome to come in bright colours only (no black) and in whatever exotic car you have available.
Thanks

It was a Tough call to take i knew he was unwell and fighting but was not expecting so soon...
Paul was without doubt a great/Fantastic friend Petrol head and family man...
From his charity work to running the VCA UK for so many years..
As Richard has said he opened so many doors and made some truly great friendships happen...

If it wasn't for Paul, we wouldn't know any of you guys. We first really got to know Paul (and Barbs of course) in 2004 on the Hockenheim trip.
In 2007 Paul drove down to Interlaken Switzerland to meet us just for one night and the drive the following day. when we had a fantastic drive to Hockenheim.
In 2010 we returned to our favourite place in Switzerland, with Paul and Barbs. Paul loved the place and returned again.
I'll miss him
Unbelievable that it happened so quickly in the end, was really hoping to get to see Paul one last time. We shared many great trips with Paul & Barbara to the Nürburgring and Europe and had such fun. He helped me with my car many times and always appreciated his leadership of the Viper Club UK.
He'll very much be missed and our thoughts are with Barbara and Clare at this time. Graham & Annette

I really can't believe how quickly this happened. I attended the American Air Day at Duxford with Paul in August (9 weeks ago) and apart from back ache resulting from falling off a tank we was helping to restore, he was the same old Paul we all knew and loved. How he will be missed by us all.
I think I first met Paul many years ago at Brooklands, he did not mind that I knew nothing about the Viper or that I don't even drive, he knew I really appreciated seeing both him and sometimes Barbara with their awesome car, as many of you know I have had the obsession with the Viper for many years. I think the world will be a much sadder place without this lovely, generous man. Condolences to Barbara and Clare, thinking of you both.
I met Paul over ten years ago and we became good friends over the years. In 2005 Paul & Barbara came to one of my BBQ and I've been to many of the UK VCA events. He was a pillar in the Viper Club community running and organizing the UK Region for 14 years!
Paul you will be missed, rest in peace my friend!
