Neil, did Charlie hand polish the valve cover or was there some dremel polishing action?

masking tape up as much as the red as possible in case you slip, then lightly sand with a block of wood and very fine wet and dry, only takes a few mins

Nope, just some good old elbow grease

I've had a go myself this evening - must have taken some determined polishing Charlie! I'm currently opting for the dremel polishing head option as I'm a bit lazy and not too keen on the sandpaper route!
