Water Wetter work ?

We use it in the Viper and it does work,drops the temp down a fair bit but it only lasts for a few months(4 ish) before I noticed the temp creeping back to its normal level(found switching on the air con drops temp down when engine hot! ? not sure why,maybe the ice that forms on the heat exchanger?)
