You are in Europe yrself, no??
or do y mean mainland Europe?.
amount of importcosts would probably depend on EC or non EC country.
There are a lot of vipers for sale in Germany right now.

Good luck.,

I mean europe.I am after a low mile 1999 silver/factory blue stripe car(an acr would be nice) and also a red/blue/black car with stripes for my brother. He is not so fussy as me however they both must be in perfect condition .Are you aware of any good car sites that I can look on any where in europe.I don't mind travelling for the right cars.

thanks,I have been looking at the heffner car on the viper alley site and it does look superb with those wheels but I am a bit nervous in buying a car without viewing it as I am possibly a bit too fussy.I would rather a silver one yet they seem to be rare.I missed one acr silver/blue at dodgevipersforsale.com but I have asked them if they know for a similar car to the one that they have just sold. It would be more ideal to find a mint one closer to home in europe so I could fly out and drive it back.

you should need a SVA if buying from Europe mine came from Belgium maybe cheaper out there? and have SVA documents included in the bundle of paperwork that came with the car, fitting of side repeaters etc, maybe they dont need them to meet Belgium regulations

good luck

If the car is in the EEC it will have been subject to import duty and VAT at the time of arrival either new or secondhand and therefore if it is for sale within the EEC then there is no VAT or Duty to pay.
Regarding SVA if the car is registered within the EEC it does not require an SVA, just an MOT if more than 3 years old.
