Brother is trying to get me to do a sprint race in the Viper Anyone else fancy a go to provide some competition?
"Involves applying for a sprint licence (no test required), then driving your car fast near some cones (ie low risk). You would probably be in class A3 - standard production cars over 2000cc. Last time out that would have been a Sierra Cosworth, TVR Tasmin, E30 M3 and an M Coupe - the later being the only one trying (or able to, more like), being 4 secs quicker than the rest. The standard of driving isn't that high."

I got 115Db @ 3000 at PF
But was that reving your beast in that "naughty" sweet spot! You know the one that makes lots of crackles and pops! You know you made me laugh so much on the convoy at the BBQ,all i managed to get was the back of your car and pops/bangs flying out of the exhaust!Lets face it,your exhaust is not only non-road legal, outragous to other road users,a danger to small childen and animals and a possible bio hazzard with all that soot that comes out the back! You should hold your head in shame sir!(Boy...do i wish the venom sounded that cool!)Lets face it you LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the sound of your exhausts don,t?....and after the convoy i have to put up with Lucy and Grace asking why Venom doesn,t sound as cool!(explained away with Colour to noise ratios and how Blue and Whites sound cooler at tick over and don,t need to make so much outragious noise above 3000 rph as it produces so much more power!I think they bought it!)

Tom, it spiked at 129.3Db at the redline, I was told it
was in the top three loudest out of all the cars tested, noisiest was a cerbera at 131. Will have to remove the cats next year.. or borrow Nads SC. Measured at 45 degrees from the tips, 500mm away (GT standard)
TB exhaust is very quiet compared to N's, my neighbours at 3am can voouch to that

B&B,Bellanger,Hennessey... all do headers to, have yet to see a home affair.
Corsa looks the best to me great tips, and is well engineered. B&B helped Phil fit his, a nightmare, miss aligned angles and hangers. Went for the booming Borla myself great easy install, but has slached cut tips which is different but not pretty. All sound decent to me. Fell for the Borla after hearing how Joel spent 2 weeks in the USA travelling about just to choose an exhaust, then hearing it in full chat on the way to Lemans. Taking off from the toll booths 5 cars back with the stereo on
Come to a meet and you can hear them all before buying, except the hennessey now VENOM's off. They all sound different
