Silvered indicator bulbs

Are these legal? A mate was going to buy some but a note on the website indicated they were not legal and would not pass an MoT?

These bulbs a few of us have used in clear indicators to stop the 'egg yolk' effect.

Best place to get them?

not sure if they are legal dont see why not as they light orange, got mine off Joel, he will have 'em on the shelf
