Went for an afternoon session to Bedford yesterday. Was the first time with the new brakes/suspension/tyres and I have to say I am in love. The car can carry much more speed in the corners than before and feels really planted, also the brakes showed zero fading (well after the second lap when they gave up completely as they were not properly bedded in...scarry moment...) managed to hit 150 mph at the straight and I think there is some room for more but first have to get used it.

here is a small video, enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWY__1uc-NM&fea...
and yup, sorry for the awful sound...ext mic next time...

current setup
Lowered on H&R springs, adjusted Konis, -2.2 front/-1.2 rear camber, Alcon 6 pot front/ Brembo 4 pot rear brakes, CCW classic wheels, 11x18 front, 13.5x18 rear, Kumho V70A mediums 305/30/18 front 335/30/18 rear.

Next steps are ported heads, lumpy cam, roller rockers and headers (bellangers already on the way). Would appreciate if anybody has gone that road and can give me some info. Was thinking of supercharging/ twin turbo but it would be pretty useless on track seeing the temps a stock engine is developping.

Did you get tested for Db rating? If you were to go for the Belanger system Noise may be an issue wink

I have 3in exhaust already and it's 105db loud. With crappy baffles I get it down to 100.4 db. Once I put the Bellanger headers I will get some proper baffles to keep it around 100db.

rofl That's not loud, Mines a 3" Belanger cat back system currently using stock headers with no cats and I kick out 128db tongue out

so I guess no silincers at all, just straight pipes biggrin
I need to take off one of the side sills to see if still have the cats but will wait till the Belangers arrive end of August...no rear silencers and 3in pipes coming from the sills at the moment.

I have long tube headers, no cats, 2.5 in pipes and if I switch off the small rear silencers I get 121db on my supercharged mustang woohoo
