I don't suppose anyone's got a spare Roe Racing (or anyone else for that matter 'Crankshaft Pin Tool' kit that I can replace? Needing one fitted at short notice! Thanks in advance.

Yeh, I've got a complete kit, unused - haven't had time to fit it yet - was gonna do it this winter.
PM me if you're interested.

I too have the Kit, but no spare pins. I was reading a thread on the VCA site where members said they had used the end of a drill bit to make a new pin as the steel is hardened wink

Thanks folks, help much appreciated.

Also, if 'pinning the crank', is an upgraded harmonic balancer still required?

I know. But something I'll have to get done before using the car in anger after speaking to Sean Roe (he advised strongly)!

I think there has been some crossed wires. The crank pinning kit that comes with the Paxton is fine for standard boost. The advice I was given was based on the belief I was running higher boost (which I will do eventually but not yet). And then I'll need to get an uprated harmonic balancer and have the crank 're-pinned'. Thanks for all the help though folks.
