for all those yellow fans

That big black grille is doing nothing to compliment the car in that colour Might be better if it were painted yellow to match?
I hope the guys at SRT have been looking at this thread on the VCA Site,...

I'm with Ginja on this one, the more I look at it the more that front end is just not doing it for me...
I like the rear/side angle, but I think that is probably just because (as I have said previously) it's very GenII ish, but in that photo the panel gaps seem all over the place, however, it might just be that the light colour of the yellow is showing up some weird shadows more obviously.
As has been said above, I'll reserve judgement a little more until I eventually see one in the flesh, but unfortunately the GenV is just not having the effect on me that the early cars (GenI/GenII) do, or the GenIV ACR did. So far, I love the new logo/badge and the interior looks really nice, but something about that front end is really putting me off it.

Its not as bad as i thought it would be I suppose i have gotten used to the new dodge front cross now, when i first saw it on chargers etc i hated it but like most things its grown on me over the last 12 mo or so. I do think the front end of the new viper is a bit Gen4 face-lift camaro ish though and even as a former camaro owner I'm not saying that as a compliment.
I quite like the modern take on the rear, it still looks like a Viper. But the entire rest of the car looks like they gave the design to the Ferrari design studio (who had been to a few Ginetta races the weekend before). I don't want to run it down as we should consider ourselves lucky Fiat decided to press on with the brand and retained the engine but I feel too many compromises have been made on the front design.
And I will fully admit I was never a fan of the Gen 3's either but love the differences now, so who knows what they look like for real - looking forward to find out
I feel myself being drawn to the Camaro ZL1 for modern cars, still has the idiotic 'just because I can' American feel to it.

Been very tempted by a new camaro but we brought a instead. I'm not surrendering my petrol-head membership card though as two vipers and a vette should earn enough credit Gassing Station | Vipers | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
