been chatting about that one with a few on here, its been for sale a few times but has dropped to £35K which is a fantastic price for a gen4, most feel the colour isnt the best which probably accounts why it hasnt sold, it even looks drab in the pics (but the colour is a big thing for me) as its your first you may not be so fussy

Get a carfax done in the US to make sure its straight, plus a HPI

its not a club car, so doubt anyone here will have any info on it

Is that the one that was brought over by someone to use in the gumball?

Personally i loved the colour in the Florida sun but hated it in the Salt lake city winter grey. Now I cant think which it is most likely to be seen in here. Its a marmite colour.

Colour wouldn't bother me at that price if it was a straght Viper....

I have seen it on ebay before and for 35k would be a real bargain if it's a clean car. The color could look good with some nice wheels and tinted windows and you can also always wrap it.

Just found this one on eBay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AWESOME-2005-DODGE-VIPER...

Now looking at the Location, this sends alarm bells ringing with me wink This is a few hundred yards away from a certan dealer I had some problems with reguarding a Writen off Black/Silver 99 GTS wink ( The older guys here will remember the story).

That's not Andys old car, bought back from the dead is it?

They're just round the corner from 'that' dealer, but as far as I know quite reputable. He does quite a few US car sales. I'm looking at going there to view a GT500.

Oh - he said in the ad, it's recorded as cat D. So honest anyway.

Only got just past 30k at the end so a hidden past is a big no no!

Being upfront and honest would give a potential buyer some confidence that there's nothing terrible hiding behind that glossy paint!?

I guess some have had repairs but need to know the facts to make a judgment on it.

Still on the case for 'the one'!

Well the Dollar is down against the Pound at the moment, why not ship one in? Get the guys in the VCA to check it over for you, get a carfax. I had never done anything like that before but it was easier than I thought smile
