Anyone know where they are available over here?

So read through the manual and it said the ac compressor could be removed without affecting the coolant lines! WRONG! Found out my system was under pressure frown WHAT A BLOODY MESS, Green dye everywhere banghead The system is not under pressure now! Not a good evening banghead

yes you can get them as my mate Chris had a leak in his GTS went to his local A/C place and they sorted it, one ring had perished heat from the engine i guess

You could try Veh Vac in Edenbridge. It's an aircon place that do all sorts including one off installs. When I dropped my engine back in the air con wouldn't regass the vette place was stumped and said to go there. They sorted it in minutes. Very good and helpful and well priced.

Yuk, the horrid green stuff. I found a way of avoiding that recently. Better not post here though. You'll have to ask

Im really struggling to find these bloody rings, Ive contacted a couple of local AC mobile repair companies only to be messed about, so Ive told them to stuff it rage

The smaller ring seems to be a special shape, if you look at it side on it looks like the capital letter D (it has a flat back), the other O ring is of a larger diameter and thiner, mine has a tear in it frown

Chuck told me These are available in the UK but I cant find them banghead I tried my local Dodge dealer and on there system they only had one available and would take about 2 weeks to get to me banghead The other one is listed as critical! Whatever the fk that means rolleyes
