Thinking of replacing the clutch, after driving hard a burning smell is presant.I have seen a clutch on e-bay for less than $200 has anyone had experiance with these clutches

I believe they are the correct ones on the VCA forum people have brought them and been pleased, you just need to make sure they are the full kit with thrust bearing etc, last thing you want is dropping it out then finding out.

My mate swapped one in the RT took 90 mins with ramps and the right tools available

There are aftermarket 'high performance' available as well but they are a lot more costly

90 mins is really good. Must be easier on the ramp.
Did Kevin's, twice, once for the flywheel second for new clutch. Easier the more times you do it.
Hardest part is lying on your back getting a stiff neck

good to here because i had already done buy it now option before I wrote the 1st post ( i think they call that a impulse buyer !)
