I thought that initially, but I am starting to wonder if it's the replacement of the GenII style hood vents, or even possibly some kind of inlet in the pilar behind the door..

The Headlights would appear to fit well with the pics we've previously seen of those:

On the basis of that image, which I realise is for a very small toy and also utter conjecture, I am pleased I didn't book that flight to New York for the unveiling. Looks like a Tesla. Lower lip seems to match the contours of the spy shot as well as the lumps in the bonnet.

I certainly hope Mattel or whoever it is have got it wrong, it looks poor in 1:64 or it looks a damn site better in the flesh!

my guess is not even close, they couldn't even get the simple things right. Dodge has a brand look (ok so this new one's not a dodge, but). The brand look is the cross grill, its on all dodge cars in some form. it has been updated in the last MY to be chrome outline on the edges of the cross. Hell you can even see it on the mule dave posted. That model sketch does not sport such a feature and i will be stunned if the final viper doesn't.

I wonder if we are going to see the return of the Gen 2 headlight unit, the position of the indicator looks similar, maybe they will add HID's and a BMW like halo on the projector to give the snake eye effect of the first teaser. Vipers were always parts bin cars....

I spoke to Ralph Giles recently at Daytona and he said and I quote "the new car will be even more radical than the car displayed at VOI11" it will have a V10 for definite he also confirmed that. It will be revealed at the New York Motor Show in April.

So any of you hardcore Viper fans it might be worth a trip to NY in April

Expect it to have side exit exhausts, carbon fibre bits and led Audi style lights if the car we saw at VOI11 is anything to go by, will also have a double bubble roof.
