Dear Viper Enthusiasts,
I have absolutley no idea about Vipers and or any American muscle cars. I did try and look for an introduction type post, but couldnt find one (so sorry if this is something that gets asked daily). All I know is that I am in desperate need for some in my life. Over the last 4/5 years i have wanted to own a proper American muscle car. The range has been from a Resto-Mod truck to a 1960's Chevelle/Vette to a custom 'Year One' esq Trans Am. I keep finding myself looking at the classifieds and I have over the last 3/4 months been thinking about a Viper, specifically a Gen 2.
I have driven one (in 2003) during one of those Red Letter experience days, and it has left an imprint on me for both good and bad reasons. I loved its looks and feel, hated the plastic and the fact that I was a novice driver back then. Since then i have had many various cars and with the old man being a pertol head, had the experince in many other cars out of my financial range. But cars ranging from a 1.6 Golf to a V12 Ferrari have all been extensivley driven...I am ready!
I went on to the Viper Owners Club to find the UK forum and it said this was it...so am I right in thinking that this section on the forum is where I will be able to get all of my information? I need to get all the info I can and maybe come to a meet at some point (if non owners are allowed) to get a better idea of the nature of the beast.
Thank you for your time in reading the post, if you have any quick info as to where is the best place I can read up on these wonderful cars I would be very grateful (will save me harrassing with BS)
Cheers

And how to fix it?
