the vauxhall smile is one of the fleet, the latest additions to Spuds growing toy box is an awesome SRT8 Jeep it's a lovely drive and proven to be viper quick down the drag strip and a shiny Victory Hammer (known as the Honey Badger)

Spud has taken on the characteristics of the Honey Badger and Skunk, if youve ever seen him eat and after effects youll know why biggrin

Here's DrB in the toy box when we popped over for the weekend

He needs space..........give me the Lotus , or even the TR........hand on heart tell me the last time hey moved under their own power??!! I'll have the Lotus running and road legal for you so you can come and do some hill climbing in south wales......you know it makes sence.(you still own, I just drive)
P.S. I can collect if it helps early new year, look forward to hearing from you soon. Make sure you get me all the paperwork so I can get things legal.

(The lad's a true saint.......watch this space)

the Lotus and TR7 are Spuds retro hill climbers already prepped smile
the Lotus is so light you can manually lift it off the ground

Spuds prepped his celica for 2012 hill climb events so you should go over and drive the Lotus in the same event wink

Money couldnt pay anyone to race the Lotus biggrin, its light, very fast (for its time),the bodywork I built for it is ultralight, everything was built as light as I could, but it would be absolutely lethal in a crash ( the only crumple zone would be your fragile old bones ). I finished it in 1987, taxed and tested it and drove it for a few weeks. After that I decided life was too precious to keep risking every time I strapped into it. But its a very rewarding, responsive car, a real blst to drive ( well it was back in the summer of '87 rolleyes) You may be Viperless but not yet lifeless.....dont crash the Lotus !!

Thanks again "Bud".

yea 2.05.73 was the record Baz for 2011 before winter kicked in, this year with a bit of spade work around 'Flugplatz' Spud should easily crack the elusive 2min barrier
